Saturday was my friend Amy's hen night at the Shore in Leith. The sun came out for us eventually!

SUNDAY 24TH APRIL - MEADOWS

A sunny Edinburgh made for a lovely walk through the Meadows this morning, shortly before I met Mr Eddie Izzard on the election campaign with the local Labour MSP.

It was a route I used to go everyday when I lived in the city. Love the cherry blossom trees, but when they were in bloom was always around the time of assessment hand ins! 

This is an extra image just before I went over to speak to Eddie. He was such an inspiration for me when I ran the Edinburgh Marathon last year, I had to go and speak to him.
