Photo A Day 31,32,33 & 34

The latest photos from this week. I have been shooting this week at lunch times around my office and it's been pointed out that I took images of signs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so today I made sure I didn't!

MONDAY 16TH MAY - 99

I have a thing for photographing numbers. I can't remember where it started but I have quite a collection now. I could not resist the painted numbers on the sandstone below the fire switch.


TUESDAY 17TH MAY - VIRGINIA

My office is close to the Merchant City. Out at lunch time these signs caught my eye, I loved the lettering and the excessive use of the street name.


WEDNESDAY 18TH MAY - YOUR

I loved this, but it was my 3rd sign of the week!
The red text on the white brick wall with the green leaves and blue sky, just drew my attention and I couldn't resist the colours. Don't the best things come in 3s?!


THURSDAY 18TH MAY - GARDENER'S WAREHOUSE
Photo A Day. 34
This cast iron and plate glass building sits on Jamaica Street in Glasgow, originally built to be a gardener's warehouse, on a sunny day the tall arches cast very striking shadows onto the facade.
