WEDNESDAY 25TH MAY/ 40 - LEAVES
The ferocious winds last week were blowing this tree. As I looked up at the branches I noticed the strong contrast of the dark leaves against the grey sky and found the form intriguing.
THURSDAY 26TH MAY/ 41 - GARDEN
Thusrday evening was spent editing photos from the wedding at Loch Fyne from the previous Saturday. This is a photo I took out of the window, I loved the colours of the trees in the garden that surrounded the house.
FRIDAY 27TH MAY/ 42 - CHANDELIER
Friday was a day off work and we spent the afternoon in Edinburgh. This was one of the chandeliers in the bar we had a cocktail in. The light reflections were really interesting and I'm please to have captured it in an abstract way.
SATURDAY 28TH MAY/ 43 - FLOWERS
On Saturday I met my parents to go to the Ideal Homes Show, we stopped for coffee at the garden cafe. The tables had lovely planted flowers in mini steel buckets as table settings.
SUNDAY 29TH MAY/ 44 - PAINT
Today was spent finally painting our hall. Considering that we are both Architects we have been living with it unfinished since we moved in. We have tried various taupes, blues, dark blues, navys only to finally settle on 'architectural' white. Sadly there are still a couple of coats to go, but at least the hall is all one colour now!
