Katie & Del's Highland Wedding

Katie and Del got married on the 9th July in Strathpeffer on the Black Isle.

They are friends of my brother and I have known them for years. I was delighted when they asked me to take the photos at their wedding. I had taken photos at Katie's twin sister's wedding last year (the jumping couple!) so I was really pleased they had asked me back up to take photos again.

I stayed with Katie at her family home in Culbokie which is surrounded with stunning scenery. We started the morning with the Katie's Mum waking us up with cups of tea! You know it's going to be a cracking day when that's the beginning. We had a great laugh as the girls all got ready, before heading to the Spa Pavilion in Strathpeffer.

The weather wasn't working in our favour but it cleared up enough to get outside for some photos after the lovely ceremony. I love it when a bride and groom have their wellies packed ready for their big day!!

Katie and Del were a beautiful, happy couple and did not stop smiling through the whole day. After hilarious speeches and a fabulous meal the couple did an amazing dance routine to Michael Jackson's - The Way You Make Me Feel.

It was a pleasure to be part of their day and the enthusiastic dancing at the PARTY! I'll never listen to Party Rock Anthem in the same way again. Looking at the photos I can still hear 'everyday I'm shuffling'!
